Liza is a Harvard-trained architect, bringing systematic spatial thinking to digital product design. She was shaped by exceptional mentors - serving as Teaching Assistant to Jeanne Gang, the most influential female architect of our time, and completing her graduate thesis under Krzysztof Wodiczko, recipient of the Hiroshima Art Prize. Now, as faculty at Carnegie Mellon's School of Architecture, she carries this legacy forward to young designers.
Boffi has contributed to many award-winning projects at globally and locally renowned design firms, including Ikon 5 Architects (#7 of 'Best Architecture and Design Firms in New York' - Architizer.com), 1100 Architect (#7 of 'Best Residential Design Firms in New York City' - NYC Architects), and Moss Architects (PA 2024 'Firm of the Year' - AIA Pennsylvania). Each has deepened her design expertise in translating complex client needs into elegant spatial solutions.
Finding endless inspiration in the natural world, Liza creates intimate botanical watercolor studies that reveal the hidden architecture of plants. Her original paintings range from unfurling dahlias to delicate studies of fleeting moments - like a bee perching on a sprig of lavender.
